Our lab has developed vectors for C. elegans transgenesis.

These vectors are for germline expression only. They use sequences from the pie-1 gene (promoter, intron and 3’ sequences) to drive expression of ORFs (or GFP-ORF fusions) in the maternal germline. The pie-1 vectors are especially well suited for maternal expression of transgenic proteins in oocytes and early embryos.

THIRD GENERATION SEYDOUX LAB VECTOR KIT

The purpose of kit is to create transgenes that can be used to transform unc-119 worms by bombardment. The kit is modular allowing the user to choose promoter, ORF, and 3’ sequences and thus is suitable for expression in any tissue.

NEWS!!! The third generation Seydoux Lab Vector kit is now available from Addgene
