The Huganir lab is located on the 10th floor of Hunterian building. In the lab, we use a combinatino of molecular, biochemical, cellular, electrophysiological, and optical imaging techniques to study glutamate receptor trafficking, synaptic plasticity and the implication of glutamate receptor trafficking in learning and memory.

Examining AMPAR endocytosis and recycling using confocal live-imaging

Both AMPAR endocytosis and recycling are improtant steps on AMPAR trafficking. By imaging N-terminal pHluorin tagged AMPARs using confocal live-imaging, I was able to examine endocytosis and recycling of AMPARs in response to NMDAR activation. Click here or here for reference.
