Our Facility offers a free service of oligonucleotide design
and contig construction. For each project we ask that you provide us
with the following information:
Vector
Insert Length
Cloning Site
Double or Single Stranded Sequencing
We will then design primers using a program called "Oligo" for either
single or double stranded projects and provide you with a consensus
sequence and contig map when we are through. Your primers (40 nmole)
will be returned to you labeled with both the primer and template
names. Primers used in sequencing do not have to be purified,
therefore, you will be receiving them in the crude form.
