Biotin Labelling

Biotin labeled oligo nucleotides are used for the development of diagnostic probes in DNA sequencing. Prices vary depending on the number of oligos, scale, and type of reagent. Please contact the Biosynthesis and Sequencing Facility for information on pricing and availablilty.

Biotin Phosphoramidite is capable of branching to allow multple biotins at the 3'-or 5'- terminus.

Biotin-dT can replace dT residues within the oligo sequence.

BiotinTEG-CPG is designed for the direct synthesis of oligos containing biotin on the 3'-terminus.

5' Biotin Phosphramidite is the preferred method of adding a Biotin to the 5'-terminus. This can only be added once to the oligonucleotide and can be synthesized with the DMT group on or off, aiding HPLC or cartridge purification.

BiotinTEG Phosphoramidite contains a 15 atom mixed polarity spacer arm based on a triethylene glycol. This gives flexibility and optimal capture by avidin or streptavidin and can be added once or several times to the 5'- terminus.
