Fluorescein labelled oligos have many applications in genetic
analysis and can be added either to the 3'- or 5'- terminus of the
oligo. The tetrachlor- and hexachloro fluorescein phophoramidites are
designed to take advantage of the multicolor detection capabilities
of modern DNA sequencers and genetic analyzers. The spectral
